We need to begin this posting by Praising our God! Sharon got the results from the PET scan today and they are very good! The large mass in the breast is "almost nearly completely gone" as the report put it. The mass is about 15 mm in size, greatly decreased from its original discovery. The lymph nodes that were involved are now normal and the liver has only a few small lesions that were identifiable.

Sharon was able to take the entire chemo today. The Dr. says that she will continue the Taxol until the surgery and then will reevaluate at that point. The Taxol is doing its job very well.

We are grateful to God for His protective hand in the healing process. We are continually encouraged by so many people who express their love to us each day. Our church angels came again today to clean for us and it was wonderful coming home to a clean house. We have had so many meals and cards and prayers. We are truly blessed.

Sharon's sister, Margaret, has been continually in touch with us. Her co-workers threw a surprise for her last weekend. They planned a Cancer Walk in Sharon's honor and collected donations to help pay for the genetic testing that all of the girls may be going through. They are all very special people and we appreciate their love and support for us and for Margaret.

We know that God has a perfect plan for each of our lives and we acknowledge that healing comes from Him. "He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed." I Peter 2:24.

Pray, with thanksgiving, to our God for what He has done.

Praise the Lord for this wonderful news!!! It reminds me of the song that I've been singing for the past few weeks, "Mighty to Save". The chorus says, "Savior, He can move the mountain. My God is Mighty to Save, he is Mighty to Save. Forever, Author of Salvation. He rose and Conquered the grave, yes he Conquered the grave." It's just so amazing to see that same power manifested in mom! I can't wait to be there with you all - can we please celebrate?? I lo!!

What a mighty God we serve!! He has shown that He was, is, and will always be the Great Physician. I look forward to how He will continue to amaze us all with your healing. "To God be the glory great things He hath done" has been on my heart since I heard the awesome results...more than we could have imagined just as Eph.3:20 tells us that God will do!!
Love,
Margaret
