Somehow the week has gotten away from us! Here's our update for this week. Sharon went for her treatment on Monday. Her white blood count was low enough that they did not want her to take the Taxol. She did get the Herceptin. Because of the change in doses she did not have to take the steriods. She has rested better this week, but she has also had less energy this week. The nose bleeds that she has been having are not supposed to be. She had an appointment with an ENT doctor on Tuesday and he cauterized a couple of blood vessels in her nose. So far Sharon has not had any more "attacks." There are various aches and pains throughout her body from day to day. We were told early on to associate the pain with cancer cells dying. If that is the case, we are glad to celebrate the pain.

Sharon continues to work about 8 hours three days a week. They are finding her much to do in the Respiratory Department.

As I've stated before, we appreciate all the prayers, cards, visits, meals that have come our way. God has encircled us with a multitude of caregivers. We know that all of this encourgament is making a tremendous difference in what is going on in our lives. Keep on praying. We are expecting God to walk with us all the way through this valley.

Hello Jewett Family; Happy to read that they were able to stop the nose bleeds. Just wanted to stop in to say that we continue to pray. We had more snow just yesterday. My upcoming trip to Florida is just seeming sweeter & sweeter each day. Of course, I do love spending time with Carrie! There's nothing like spending time with family. Have a good weekend!!
