Easter Eve

We have had a wonderful week of services at church. Sharon has been to all of them and has sung in the choir. Last night in the Good Friday service, she had to leave half way through because of a nose bleed. That seems to be the most disconcerting part of what she is dealing with right now. The nose bleeds happen with no warning and at the most inconvenient times. She keeps on! Also, this week Sharon has gone back to work with limited hours. She is not around contagious patients. It does make her a bit tired at the end of the week. But we have had an unusual week with the extra services at church.

We got a call from the Oncologist on Wednesday. She told us that the cancer markers that were 800+ have come down to 513. The CEA was 19.9 and is down to 7.1. We have praised God that these things have changed so quickly. She is still on track for 4 more treatments then a visit with the surgeon to see where we are with the next step.

The Treasure Coast Community Singers, the community choir I started 5 years ago, is planning a benefit day for us on Saturday, May 10. They have scheduled 6 different choirs and one high school band to do 8 hours worth of music at the church. We are thrilled to have so many people care about what is going on in our lives. We are a bit uncomfortable with the attention. We are more accustomed to being part of the organizing team. The church family has been so supportive. We have been extremely blessed to be where we are. God continues to show us His strength and His blessing.

We hope you all have a marvelous Easter as we celebrate the blessing of sin's forgiveness and the gift of eternal life through the resurrected Jesus.

Happy Easter to the Jewett Family: Hapy to hear that you've been able to share in some beautiful times of the season. Nothing like a beautiful Choir! Our church in Michigan had a beautiful Choir also. Lots of involvement. They had even done a few Easter Dramas for the community and our kids were all in it. Wonderful memories. Enjoy the day. We continue to pray.

Wow! It sounds like God is pouring out blessings. This busy week would have exhausted those who were not being challenged with health issue....but to have chemo therapy, work and attend all those services...well it made me tired just reading about it. Sharon, you continue to amaze, inspire, and bless me. I continue to pray for you guys.

Love

Sharon, Doug & Girls; We continue to pray for strength & comfort for these days ahead. I'm excited to head to Florida in April to visit with Carrie & Dean. Hopefully I can meet all of you. If you're not able to be at choir when I'm there I would certainly understand. We'll be praying. Have a good day.
